Shifted feeding schedule: why is your baby eating all night?
Your little one eats little or rarely during the day, but hangs on your breast for long periods at night or frequently asks for a bottle? This is called a "shifted feeding schedule." With this type of feeding arrangement, the child gets most of their calories at night. During the day, feedings are either short, infrequent, or the baby completely refuses the breast or bottle. After six months, introducing complementary foods may be challenging, especially if the child has not developed a solid food interest.
